At 11:30 p.m., the Associated Press finally called Michigan for Bernie Sanders in a race that had remained too tight to call until nearly 100 percent of the vote was in. Sanders had emerged hours earlier Tuesday night, giving a very short speech before heading out, taking no questions from reporters.
