Maybe this is just one of those cryptic Donald Trump tweets, or maybe not even his money could buy the extra characters to let him clarify. Today he tweeted that it’s “sad but true” that when other Republican candidates drop out, he picks up their supporters.
The polls show that I picked up many Jeb Bush supporters. That is how I got to 46%. When others drop out, I will pick up more. Sad but true
