Not even Donald Trump seems to be certain if he’ll show at tomorrow night’s presidential debate presented by Fox News and Google. Ted Cruz, closely trailing the GOP front-runner in some polls, will be at the debate, and he’s also invited Trump to an unsanctioned, one-on-one town hall if he’d prefer that format.
Cruz to Trump: Please accept this invitation to join me at an in-person, two-hour Town Hall event..in Sioux City this Saturday

To prove he’s serious, Cruz says he’s secured a venue, a date, and a time.

.@tedcruz proposes "mano-a-mano" debate w/Trump in Sioux City Sat 8pm. "We have a venue, we have a time. All we’re missing is a candidate."

@toddgillman @tedcruz go home. No one would ever accept that. Amateur.

@toddgillman @SteveDeaceShow @tedcruz Trump is controlling the narrative. Try again. Businessman who knows how to win versus politician.

@toddgillman @tedcruz Trump would never let Cruz set any ground rules on how he will campaign. This is an amateur's last ditch effort.

One thing we don’t know yet is who would moderate.
Cruz invites Trump to a one-on-one debate Saturday night in Sioux City and suggests Limbaugh, Hannity, or Levin moderate.

Hannity says he’s on board.

Trump won't do it, but he might show at the debate at the last minute just to feed his narcissistic ego— Douglas Graham (@mtholster69) January 28, 2016
