Protesters urged to take advantage of free public transit to harass Rahm Emanuel

#ResignRahm demonstrators are once again gathering outside of Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s house, and they’re promising to do so for 16 consecutive nights to represent the 16 shots fired at Laquan McDonald last year.

Tonight, of course, is New Year’s Eve, and the Chicago Transit Authority is offering citizens free public transportation over the holiday — an offer protesters used to encourage others to join them in Emanuel’s driveway once they finished their die-ins downtown with Jesse Jackson in tow.
