There are more reasons every day to wish one could leave Earth and live on Mars instead. Fortunately, Jose Canseco is on the case and thinks he has the formula for making Mars habitable in just a few very difficult steps.
If we could get ammonia to Mars we could make an atmosphere

By my calculations if we nuked the polar ice caps on Mars we would make an ocean of 36 feet deep across the whole planet.

Go on …
And then it appears that redirecting Saturn's moon Triton to collide into Mars could make the planet habitable faster

@JoseCanseco Mars lacks a powerful magnetic field to deflect the solar winds, and hence cannot keep it's atmosphere.

Can you believe it? Canseco didn’t even think about the fact that Mars lacks a magnetic field.
Yes i DID think about the missing magnetic field. It is created when the Triton collision liquidates Mars outer core into molten iron.

@JoseCanseco I like where your head is at, Jose. Not really sure where it is, but I still like it.

@JoseCanseco i'm gonna need @neiltyson to fact check this.

President Obama already has Bill Nye the Science Guy on the case. He works way cheaper, due to his lack of actual credentials.
