San Bernardino police report 'suspect down' as SWAT vehicles surround disabled SUV

At a press conference given just before 6:30 p.m. Eastern, law enforcement reported that there was an “active scene” and a “suspect down” less than two miles from the social services facility, an apparent reference to helicopter video of a dark SUV that had been the subject of a firefight with police officers.

Police said that an officer was injured by a ricochet but will be OK. Along with the subject on the ground outside the SUV, another suspect still inside the vehicle is reported to be dead or at least incapacitated.

Maybe not: Some are reporting that another suspect has barricaded himself inside a home or a church.
