Septuagenarian hipster Bernie Sanders joins Snapchat, gives supporters a new reason to live

We’re guessing that Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders wasn’t very familiar with the social messaging app Snapchat when he leaned into a supporter’s iPhone in September and gave a hearty, “Hey, Snapshot.”

Someone in his campaign has likely given him a tutorial in the interim, because the New York Daily News reports that Sanders has officially joined “Snapshot” as bernie.sanders.

Sanders’ post has racked up 15,000 “loves” in the space of one workday, and if Twitter didn’t have a “Love” button before today, it would have had to have added one.
