Here’s some good news for supporters of anyone except Hillary Clinton for president: Wendy Davis, who hoped to parlay an 11-hour pro-abortion filibuster into a job as Texas governor (and lost to Greg Abbott by a wide margin), has endorsed Clinton for president.
Davis was very much the ringmaster of the midnight circus to which pink-clad supporters tried to bring bags of tampons, condoms, glitter and who knows what else into the senate chamber to toss at the mean men trying to restrict abortion to the first five months of pregnancy. Denied access while with their props, women began adorning their clothing with tampons and wearing them as earrings.
For what reason does Davis support Team Hillary? Why, all those years of leadership in the face of challenges … like turning on her phone’s ringer and using a fax machine.
