Andrea Tantaros also notes deafening silence from White House over Kate Steinle shooting

Jim Steinle, who was with his daughter when she was gunned down in San Francisco by an illegal immigrant who had been deported five times, was on Capitol Hill today speaking before the Senate Judiciary Committee in favor of Kate’s Law, which would prevent the release of illegal aliens with criminal records without alerting federal authorities who could deport them.

Kate’s brother, Brad, appeared on Fox News Tuesday night, also arguing on behalf of Kate’s Law. In a recent appearance on Fox News’ “The Kelly File,” Steinle confirmed that his family had heard nothing from the Obama administration.

“The Five” host Andrea Tantaros notes that while Steinle’s senseless and violent death hasn’t motivated the president to pick up the phone, he did manage to call law student Sandra Fluke to offer his comfort after mean old radio host Rush Limbaugh called her a “slut.”

Get called a name by a radio host, Obama will call you to see if you're ok. Your daughter gets gunned down by an illegal, you get silence.
