IRS delivers Judicial Watch 900 pages of documents on Lois Lerner's targeting of Tea Party groups

Gerri Willis of Fox Business reported earlier this week that the IRS had apparently ignored a court-imposed deadline to turn over newly found emails from Lois Lerner relevant to the ongoing investigation into the IRS’s targeting of Tea Party groups for extra scrutiny and even harassment in the run-up to the 2012 election. The IRS has never been hung up on deadlines, though.

Today, Willis reports that 900 pages of documents have been handed over to Judicial Watch, which filed a Freedom of Information Act request for the documents.

Shockingly, the IRS didn’t wait until Friday night to deliver the documents, so, unlike when Hillary Clinton’s camp dumped a massive number of emails at 9 p.m. on deadline day, reporters have plenty of time to scour and analyze them. But will they?

Willis reports that the court might have reached a deal whereby the IRS agrees to release additional documents every other Wednesday. We’re counting on Judicial Watch (as usual) to do the heavy lifting, but will the administration do anything about it?

Hey, news media: We heard there’s a photo of a Tea Party group with a Confederate flag somewhere inside those 900 pages. Or is it too late already for that to work?
