Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal officially announced his intention to run for president this afternoon, but the media would rather talk about just about anything else, as long as it’s Jindal’s ethnicity.
The Washington Post embarrassed itself yesterday by featuring the quote, “There’s not much Indian left in Bobby Jindal,” in its tweet linking to its profile of the governor. In another shocker, the Post revealed that Jindal “said recently he wants to be known simply as an American, not an Indian American.”
Tonight, Pakistani-American actor and comedian Kumail Nanjiani of “Sex Tape” fame announced that “his people” would like to make a deal.
