As Twitchy reported this morning, federal officials took a second suspect into custody after the shooting death of Usaama Rahim outside of a Boston area CVS. The Boston Globe reported that Rahim and David Wright of Everett, Mass., were plotting to “behead a police officer” on Tuesday.
It is being reported Wednesday night, however, that the pair’s original target was Pamela Geller, president of the American Freedom Defense Initiative and sponsor of the Draw Muhammad Art Exhibit and Cartoon Contest in Garland, Texas.
CNN says the Boston suspect wanted to behead Pamela Geller.

Yes, CNN’s Erin Burnett actually asked Geller if she relished being the target of a beheading plot, and also brought up the Southern Poverty Law Center’s alleged tracking of hate groups like Geller’s, apparently to provide “balance.”
