Col. Kurt Schlichter, Townhall columnist, author of four bestselling ebooks and all-around caring person isn’t waiting to hear Rick Santorum’s speech this afternoon announcing that he’s running for president to weigh in with his non-endorsement of the socially conservative GOP candidate.
Rick Santorum just thrilled a Courtyard By Marriot conference room full of delusional people by announcing that he still exists. #caring

@KurtSchlichter agreed – sorry Rick. you are just making noise. Support anyone yet?
— BHall (@consunite) May 27, 2015
@KurtSchlichter How deluded Rick is.He can't win the votes of his home-state friends & neighbors but believes he can win nationally.#Stupid

ABC News anchor/Clinton Foundation contributor George Stephanopoulos was happy to grant an interview to Santorum.
.@GStephanopoulos is interviewing Rick Santorum this AM? That is insane. The Clinton partisan should be removed from all political coverage.
— Mollie (@MZHemingway) May 27, 2015
.@MZHemingway Actually, that @GStephanopoulos is interviewing Santorum indicates that he is being excluded from political coverage.

I think Santorum was just glad to find someone, anyone, who gave a shit. @lachlan https://t.co/giLfheIiWM

Somebody cares. Santorum’s official announcement, made in his hometown of Cabot, Pennsylvania, was actually well attended, as reported by Salena Zito of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. Hillary Clinton might have put on her phony southern twang today, but Santorum’s event was pure Pittsburgh.

Not a bad crowd, but will Santorum ever be taken seriously by the “cool kids” if even conservatives wonder why he’s running?
Time to break out those sweater vests! @RickSantorum
— Andrew Klavan (@andrewklavan) May 27, 2015
Rick Santorum is a hero to Americans who disdain gay men but adore pastel-colored sweater vests.
