George Stephanopoulos 'doesn't recall' whether Clinton Foundation donations were solicited

CNN’s Brian Stelter reported earlier today that “This Week” host George Stephanopoulos had actually made not two but three donations totaling $75,000 to the Clinton Foundation while neglecting to inform his employer or his viewers.

Stelter, who has been in direct contact with Stephanopoulos, adds that the ABC News anchor “doesn’t recall” whether the donations were spontaneous gifts to the foundation “in support of the work they’re doing on global AIDS prevention and deforestation, causes I care about deeply,” or if they were actively solicited by the Clintons.
