Those following the election in the U.K. this week will know that Prime Minister David Cameron and the Conservative Party won a decisive majority in Parliament, leading singer Lily Allen to contemplate which fascist regimes she’d prefer to live under than Tory-led Britain.
At least Allen confined her stupendous ignorance to a tweet. Others have decided to riot in the streets of London to express their unhappiness with the outcome of the election, which had an impressive turnout of 66 percent.

What's that — violent leftists are destroying another city? But that's so unlike them. #LondonRiots #ToriesOutNow

@exjon @fringeaggressor @deb123giraffe One man, one vote = Democracy. Violent mob action = Social justice.

@iowahawkblog Been there, these people are deranged. I ask them do you vote and they reply voting isn't democracy. Fucking commies.

@iowahawkblog If those bobbies ever fought back properly for one moment…that entire crowd would spoil their trousers.

Again, progressivism is the toddler mentality manifested as politics. When they don't get what they want, there's a tantrum. #LondonRiots

Same thing will be happening here on Nov. 9th, 2016 if one of the elderly commie Dems doesn't win. #LondonRiots

We all knew rules of election before #GE15. Same rules as every other election. If you are rioting then you are an idiot. #londonriots

Catching up on post-election news. In 2010 (my own views aside) I felt the country got the govt it wanted; don't feel that about 2015.
— Myra MacDonald (@myraemacdonald) May 9, 2015
That said, people holding violent protests, defacing monuments and otherwise failing to respect result need intensive lessons in democracy.
