Street demonstrations continued today in Baltimore in protest of the death of Freddie Gray, a 25-year-old black man who died of a spinal injury one week after being taken into police custody.
Today, however, “non-essential” city personnel were sent home at 2 p.m. in anticipation of the protests.

Forget the Peoples Power Assembly … look who finally made it to the protests.
Jesse Jackson rolls into Baltimore. Calls the police van which #FreddieGray rode in, his hearse. Very helpful. Wait for facts, peeps.
