Tuesday night marked the 150th anniversary of the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln, and all history buffs should take a moment to check out the official Twitter feed of the Ford’s Theatre National Historic Site, @FordsTheatreNPS, as well as the excellent timeline of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review’s Salena Zito.
Plenty were on hand at the theater for the occasion.

The first couple was busy tonight at the White House’s gospel music celebration. The White House did issue a happy birthday tweet to Lilly Ledbetter, however, and the president did manage to remember to order flags flown at half-mast Wednesday.
President Obama has ordered flags at half-staff tomorrow via the "Day of Remembrance for President Abraham Lincoln" proclamation #iagov
