We’ve seen quite a bit of Chris Kyle’s widow Taya lately as she and “American Sniper” star Bradley Cooper tour the country promoting the film. Kyle was also present at the SHOT Show in Las Vegas this week, where she appeared at the AmericanSnipers.org booth to assist with a firearms raffle.
Jason Howerton of TheBlaze was on hand for the raffle; be sure to visit TheBlaze for photos and to read his complete write-up of the event. He insists you’ll cry, and he’s probably right. He reports:
The gun raffle — including the rifle signed by Taya Kyle — raised over $62,000.
After announcing the winners, the group then revealed that “every dime” raised would go directly to Taya Kyle and her family.
Awesome.

AmericanSnipers.org is “a full time program currently supporting snipers and designated marksmen in over 150 sniper platoons of the US military,” helping to provide “desperately needed gear and supplies that are specifically tailored to the sniper mission.”
