Alleged Oklahoma beheader reported to have 'Peace be with you,' Jesus Christ tattoos

Alleged Oklahoma beheader Alton Nolen is reported to have attempted to convert co-workers to Islam, and the FBI was reportedly probing Nolen’s own recent conversion to Islam. Nolen’s conversion seems to play out in his tattoos; a report on body marks by the Oklahoma Department of Corrections shows that Nolen had both tattoos of Jesus Christ and “Assalamu Alaikum,” the Arabic text for “Peace be with you.”

According to Oklahoma records, he has a tattoo of Jesus Christ on his chest. According to News 9, Nolen only recently converted to Islam.
