While calls for “The Five’s” Bob Beckel to resign or be fired over his use of the word “Chinamen” add up, the Fox News host has found a champion in Fox colleague Greta Van Susteren, who asserts that Beckel “does not have a bias [sic] bone in his body.”
@gretawire @TheFive Then he has stupid bones all over his body. How many times is FOX going to let him skate with a lame apology?
— Kathy Jacobs (@kkeejj) July 14, 2014
@gretawire @TheFive but to be fair, if he were a conservative on one of the networks he would already have been fired
— Neil Sullivan (@NeilSullivan72) July 14, 2014
@gretawire @johnnydollar01 @TheFive Sorry, but he's a bully. @KirstenPowers is a far better rep for the left.

@scottjroberts33 @gretawire @johnnydollar01 @TheFive @KirstenPowers or Joe Trippi..
— DSNicol (@Dsnicol2) July 14, 2014
@Dsnicol2 @gretawire @johnnydollar01 @TheFive @KirstenPowers Exactly. Doug Shoen and Pat Caddel (sp) also.

@gretawire I am the 1st person to vouch for FNC. Fox has been outsmarting media establishment since late '90s. But this apology is idiotic.

Van Susteren did find some believers.
@gretawire @TheFive I agree with you Greta
— Michael R. Wimberly (@Michaelmrw) July 14, 2014
@gretawire @TheFive He made one mistake while telling the truth about China.
— John Glendenning?? (@johnglenpdx) July 14, 2014
@gretawire @TheFive Beckel makes me nuts but come on – anyone "of a certain age" remembers this was a common way to refer to the Chinese.

@gretawire
Yeah, about that…. Since when did "Chinaman" become a racial slur? Who decides what offends who? Modern times!!!@TheFive— NotSt Michael (@grampa_Tex) July 14, 2014
@gretawire @TheFive I am Chinese… China men is not really derogatory…. "Chink" is far more offensive
