Ken Wahl: Dems spent most of hearing apologizing to IRS commissioner

IRS Commissioner John Koskinen famously told told the House Ways and Means Committee on Friday that “I don’t think an apology is owed.” At Monday night’s hearing before the House Oversight Committee, there were several apologies — from committee members to Koskinen.

Several Democrats on the committee offered their apologies to Koskinen, with a visibly shaken Rep. Elijah Cummings thanking Koskinen from the depths of his heart for his civil service. “I apologize that you’ve had to go through this hell,” Cummings concluded.

Actor Ken Wahl didn’t miss the fact that the Democrats were the ones doing the apologizing, and followers agreed that that was a problem.
