'We may be everyone's mom and dad': #GetCovered ad gets creepy [Photoshop]

Are we sure that’s a Photoshop job by Michael Deppisch? After all, Think Progress tweeted earlier today that “Barack and Michelle are all of our parents now,” and last February, comedian Chris Rock noted that “Obama is like the dad of our country.”

@deppisch Please please please tell me this is a Photoshop satire, and not actual White House messaging. #hardtotell

The ghost is the only thing about the ad that doesn’t scare us.

Our verdict: fake, but accurate.
