Bill Maher's 'mass shooting at CMAs' gag hits too close to home

A tasteless jab at conservatives from Bill Maher is nothing new. However, Maher’s “joke” Friday about a mass shooting at the Country Music Awards managed to cross the line further than usual. As Caleb Howe notes at the Independent Journal Review, Maher’s shot at the CMAs (video at the link) ran afoul of a woman whose daughter was killed in the Aurora, Colo., theater shooting.
