Here's what a trillion-dollar spending bill looks like

Late Monday, legislators delivered a 1,582-page, $1.012 trillion spending bill to fund the government for fiscal year 2014. The Heritage Foundation stacked up sheets of paper to show the size of the bill, and it also posted the entire bill online.

Heritage notes that the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) are receiving $146 million each. Ten thousand of those dollars will go to fund “dance choreography that explores life in a ‘1961 Oasis trailer,’ to be performed in parking lots and community parks with ‘audience participation.'”
