A report released today by the Department of Health and Human Services shows that more than three-quarters of people who purchased an insurance plan through the Obamacare insurance marketplace will be receiving federal financial assistance in paying their premiums.

HHS also revealed for the first time demographic information. Only 24 percent of enrollees are from the important 18–34 age group. As the Washington Examiner’s Philip Klein reports, that’s well below the administration’s goal of nearly 39 percent. “In December, a report from the Kaiser Family Foundation identified a ‘worst-case scenario’ situation in which just 25 percent of enrollees were in the 18-to-34 demographic,” Klein writes.
