Outgoing New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg signed 22 bills today, one of which bans the use of e-cigarettes anywhere smoking is prohibited.

Although some say they use e-cigarettes to help them kick the real thing, Bloomberg has said the electronic cigarette “works about as well as patches, which is to say it really doesn’t work.”
