There must be a grownup or two volunteering for MoveOn. While it’s true that MoveOn.org is hosting a petition calling for House Speaker John Boehner, Republican Majority Leader Eric Cantor and other to be arrested and charged with seditious conspiracy against the United States of America, there’s a small disclaimer at the top noting that the petition “may not reflect MoveOn members’ progressive values.”
Then again, frog-marching the opposition party to prison on national TV very well might reflect the progressive values of much of MoveOn’s membership, seeing as the petition currently has more than 26,000 signatures.
This is such a bloody dangerous way of thinking. http://t.co/vlJuJ5OvWb

The First Amendment? Sedition. The Second Amendment? Sedition. Controlling the House of Representatives? Sedition.

And the best bit about it is that the sort of people who join MoveOn are always convinced conservatives are about to behave like they do.

Even Tim Murphy of über-liberal Mother Jones magazine thinks it’s time for MoveOn to move on.
