Fox News’ Chris Wallace on Sunday couldn’t egg Treasury Secretary Jack Lew into spilling any information on actual Obamacare enrollments. Lew was insistent on giving absolutely no estimate on the number of insurance policies sold, not even after Wallace suggested his silence was inspired by the possibility that the number might be “embarrassingly small.”
CNN’s Anderson Cooper tonight is wondering the same thing. The Obama administration has to know how many people have signed up, right? It certainly wasted no time releasing web traffic statistics, but those don’t pay to run Obamacare, do they? So what’s the deal? Does the White House really not know how many have signed up?
