For as much as gun control advocates insist all they want is common sense firearm safety reforms, there wasn’t much common sense on display at Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s gun seizure press conference earlier today. What was on display was a collection of more than 250 guns, all pointed at the audience.
Townhall’s Katie Pavlich checked in with the NYPD to find out just what they were thinking, though they didn’t seem to anxious to talk common sense gun safety with some dumb girl.
NYPD just hung up on me for asking who set up the guns at the press facing the audience.

The Lieutenant on the phone refuse to repeat his name and said my line of questioning was "strange"

When I asked why guns were pointed at the audience, he said "They're not loaded"

Reminder: all guns are always loaded.

He also said it was "a bit ridiculous" that I would even be asking about why 250 guns were pointed toward the audience
