The scene looks reasonably calm from this angle; is it just hype, or a bona fide riot? Police are no strangers to shows by Odd Future, the rap collective of which Tyler is a member.

It looks as though reports of a “riot” are premature, but police are on hand to make sure things stay that way.
There is no indication there is an actual riot outside the Fox Theatre in #Boulder. Pictures suggest a very large crowd.
