Quite a few Occupy-associated Twitter accounts were apparently hacked today, with each delivering the same short message:

So many accounts tweeting "OCCUPY IS OVER. IT WAS FUN #SORRY"

Legal Insurrection tracked the source of the hack to an administrator whose account was compromised.

A message tweeted from the @occupywallstnyc account claimed that “some corporate goons” were responsible, but that tweet has since been deleted as well. So, corporate goons are off the hook this time — they were probably busy doing something evil somewhere else.
So, Occupy’s not over?
So, we heard someone tweeted out "Occupy is over?" Funny, because we didn't think it worked like that, you know, because, here we are and all.
