The election is over, but that doesn’t mean all the polls are closed. The folks at Public Policy Polling have posted the results of their holiday poll of 500 voters, and 44 percent said they believe Santa is a Democrat, while only 28 percent said Jolly Old Saint Nick is a Republican.

Mitt Romney riled Democrats in a post-election conference call when he cited “gifts” to youth and minority voters, such as promises of free contraceptives and college loan forgiveness, as one of the reasons for President Obama’s reelection. Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal called the analysis “absolutely wrong,” but does the poll tell another story?
@140elect @ppppolls Santa gives & cares for others.. OF COURSE HE'S A DEMOCRAT!!..;-D

@140elect @ppppolls. How cam that be? Santa holds kids accountable for their actions – hence his "naughty" list. Very un-Democrat.
