'Sexiest woman' Mila Kunis baffled by existence of poor Republicans

Actress Mila Kunis became a trending topic on Twitter today as news broke that Esquire magazine had named the 29-year-old the “sexiest woman alive” (for this year, at least). As excerpts from the accompanying interview hit the web, though, Kunis’ sexiness quotient dropped with conservatives. Why? The GOP’s war on women, dummy. Oh, and too much Jesus.

“The way that Republicans attack women is so offensive to me,” Kunis exclaims. “And the way they talk about religion is offensive. I may not be a practicing Jew, but why we gotta talk about Jesus all the time? And it’s baffling to me how a poor person in Georgia can say, ‘I’m a Republican.’ Why?”

Once over the shock of learning that a Hollywood actress was actually a liberal, conservatives offered their own rebuttal to Kunis’ deep thoughts.

The idea that women can even consider being Republicans has been a shock to stars like Eva Longoria and Nancy Sinatra, but GOP women are happy to let Hollywood know they exist, and that they don’t rely on their lady parts to do their thinking for them.

Dear Esquire — it might be time to revisit your definition of “sexy.”
