Cher attacks Kansas GOP as birthers, 'beneath slime'

It’s true that a Manhattan, Kan., man this week filed an objection with the State Objections Board, alleging that “there is substantial evidence showing that much of Mr. Obama’s alleged birth certificates have been forged or doctored.” The board had planned to take up the case and request birth records from Hawaii on Monday, but Joe Montgomery withdrew his request Friday amid “a great deal of animosity and intimidation.”

Montgomery told the Huffington Post that his filing of the objection was an unsuccessful attempt to start a “constructive dialogue,” but it did succeed in setting off a destructive monologue from Cher.
