Adam Levine of Maroon 5 and NBC’s “The Voice” wants you to know that, despite his tweets about “magic underwear,” he’s no bigot — and he’s no Democrat, either.
Breitbart’s Kurt Schlichter called out Levine on his feeble defense of his anti-Mormon jab, and with that tweet, school was in session.
Hey @adamlevine: Probs with the Mormon past? How about the Democrat present, or was it cool to have a KKK kleagle Senator in this century?

@KurtSchlichter @adamlevine Or how about your support for Planned Parenthood whose founder wanted "to extinct people of color"?

Selective anti-racism crusader @adamlevine declines to repudiate Democrat embrace of a KKK kleagle. #SelectiveIndignation cc: @adamsbaldwin

Levine denied he’s a Democrat, but we’re not exactly left wondering how he’ll vote this November, considering his tweet that he’d “lose his shit” if America didn’t re-elect Obama.
You're not a democrat? Oh yeah, and I'm not a Republican. We just happen to share the majority of views of those parties. Okay. @adamlevine

@adamlevine You’re not a Democrat? So you just campaign for them then? http://t.co/9wyNUA30 @KurtSchlichter @adamsbaldwin

@adamlevine If you're not a Democrat or a conservative, that leaves Libertarian; you're as libertarian as Bill Maher.

Still waiting for Dem-denier @adamlevine to criticize the Dems for having a KKK kleagle senator. He's likelier to put out a good song first.

@KurtSchlichter @adamlevine HARRY REID???? Honestly, the stupid it burns! #hypocrisy #ifbeinghypocriticalwereanolympicsportdemsdrippingingld

After engaging a few Maroon 5 fans in political debate, class was dismissed.
.@perfgron Well, the kind of person Adam Levine seems to be is one who doesn't tell his fans the truth about his politics. That OK W/ you?
— Kurt Schlichter (@KurtSchlichter) September 1, 2012
If I change only one @AdamLevine fan's mind, I've done my job. Not, not about his politics. About his shitty music. #BuyAReplacementsCD
