While the Left was busy #negrospotting at the Republican National Convention, conservatives were judging speakers by their words and by the content of their character. Mia Love, mayor of Saratoga Springs, Utah, is running for Utah’s fourth congressional district, but her standout speech had some wishing she’d reach higher.
Watching future president Mia Love on airport CNN. Astonishingly, no one seems stunned that a black woman is addressing the #rnc2012.

“My parents immigrated to the U.S. [from Haiti] with $10 in their pocket, believing that the America they had heard about really did exist,” Love told the crowd. “When times got tough they didn’t look to Washington, they looked within … So the America I came to know was centered in personal responsibility and filled with the American dream.”

NBC said there were no #blackconservativesforRomney – @MiaBLove is a super example of what's right with conservatives #rnc2012 #cspanRNC

Even the Left had to give Love props.
Mia Love is pretty good. Maybe the GOP should have put her on in prime time.

Well, not everyone was impressed by independent thought.

I don't care what anyone says. Mia Love may be the next Republican star, but she's still a black woman and a traitor.

Mia Love, this GOP token, is not just Republican, not just Mormon, but she's also Haitian, named Ludmya, and married to a white man.

Look who else isn’t impressed:
I don't call Mia Love a rising GOP star. You have to win something first on the nat'l level. Media does the same to Dems. It's silly to me
