As Twitchy reported, 14 elementary school students and a teacher are reportedly dead after a mass shooter blockaded himself inside a school in Uvalde, Texas. The shooter is dead, and his grandmother was shot. From what we can piece together, he shot his grandmother, then barricaded himself inside the school and opened fire.

We’ve been keeping an eye out for who would be the first to jump in and call for gun control, and the winner in the high-profile category might be California Gov. Gavin Newsom.
