If the job is to tank the president’s approval rating, then former President Bill Clinton is right — President Joe Biden is a get-the-job-done leader. Biden is so bad we’d swap in Clinton (Bill, not Hillary) for him right about now. Clinton was horrible, but at least he wasn’t setting 40-year records for inflation.

Brian Freeman of Newsmax reveals that Clinton did the write-up for Biden for TIME’s 100 Most Influential People of 2022. If Biden could use some of that influence to get gas prices down, that would be great.

Damn, he’s looking old — and he’s four years younger than Biden. We’d blame it on the stress of spending so much time with Hillary, but who are we kidding.

Clinton’s write-up goes something like this:

“In his first 16 months in office, Joe Biden has done exactly what he said he would do if elected — help America overcome an unprecedented pandemic, rebuild a battered economy from the bottom up and middle out so that it works for all of us, and restore our standing in the world,” Clinton said in the write-up.

“We still face stern tasks, including taming inflation without causing a recession, and combating violent crime. The usual sound bites and answers that dominate the news won’t help. But a get-the-job-done leader who cares more about the people than the polls, more about winning the future than rewriting history, will.”

Yeah, no one’s buying that. Biden is a get-the-job-done leader, depending on what your definition of “is” is.

We’ve been assured by the Biden administration that the problem is just that Americans are just ignorant of all the good things Biden has done. Asked recently why Americans don’t think he’s doing enough to fight inflation, Biden replied that Americans are “not focused … I think what I have to do is explain in simple, straightforward language what’s going on.” Dumb it down a shade for the rubes out there.

They’re the same people who don’t care that Biden hasn’t sat for an interview since February — “He’s too busy fixing the country.”
