CNN senior political commentator David Axelrod is looking toward President Joe Biden’s nomination of the first black woman to serve on the Supreme Court and he’s finding it sad that it’s already baked in that it’s going to be a near party-line vote to confirm her. What’s an even more sad reflection is looking back at when that all changed. Also, we noticed Axelrod skipped over the most recent few nominees to the Supreme Court.

If the supposedly moderate Biden puts forward a moderate Supreme Court nominee, we’ll just have to see.
