MSNBC had to keep it mostly in-house with its panel to discuss the taking of hostages at a Texas synagogue Saturday. Claire McCaskill’s a contributor, and then there’s Al Sharpton, who has his own show on the network and is an expert source of anti-Semitism.

I, for one, applaud their effort to get the anti-Semite’s side of the story.

Al is overqualified for this since that hostage taker didn't actually get any Jews killed.

He's probably Monday Morning Quarterbacking what the guy did wrong

This can’t be real. It has to be performance art. https://t.co/ewWKFl4Mdl

I mean, when you need an expert…

Well who better to weigh in on an anti-Semitic attack than the Freddy’s Fashion Mart guy

What's the problem? We should commend news shows for showing both sides

"Quick, we need an expert on targeting Jewish communities for the panel. Who do we have available?"
— The Grumpy Bear (@BearOfGrump) January 18, 2022
In their defense, is there anyone both more prominent and who has as much experience targeting Jewish communities as Al Sharpton?

Was Richard Spencer already booked on CNN https://t.co/FMBFEcD4rr

Al Sharpton is more Jewish than you are, @SethAMandel. This is known.

Sweet Al. Friend of the Jewish people.

My head is exploding. Sharpton is an anti-Semitic agitator responsible for the Crown Heights riots (as recently as two years ago refused to apologize). But the ADL guy??!!
Jonathan Greenblatt, you no longer have authority to speak for the Jewish community.

Something something fairness doctrine

We like too how it was breaking news that the hostage-taker targeted the Jewish community. Thanks, FBI.
