A TikTok video that went viral has cost the CEO of a telemedicine company his job after he apparently offended the LGBTQ community by telling a boy wearing a red prom dress that he looked like an idiot. (A lot of news outlets are putting “idiot” in quotes, but we don’t see the need.)

And here’s the video that got Sam Dalton fired:

The Washington Times reports:
The incident at the Harpeth Hotel in Franklin left the teen livid.
“I don’t take crap from anybody or any person,” the teen told a local ABC affiliate on Tuesday.
The viral TikTok video of the interaction included the student telling Mr. Dalton to “f—- off!” in response to his commentary.
“We share the concerns that so many have expressed on this matter and look forward to announcing concrete steps we are taking in support of the LGBTQ community in particular over the coming weeks,” VisuWell said in a statement after Dalton‘s termination, though as far as we can tell, the teen isn’t even gay, and this was just a stunt.
The CEO seems to be the victim here. He absolutely seemed to take the brunt of the abuse in the video. And lost his job.

I support Mr. Dalton’s statements on the matter and I am going to leave it at that.

Fired for telling the truth. That kid is a fruit loop. Fire me.

The CEO is correct. The kid looks like an idiot with horrible taste in dresses. Prom Queen… NO WAY. Pretty Woman on hooker steroids, okay!

He absolutely spoke the truth!

CEO is right.

Telling the truth is now a fireable offense.

Welcome to the world of wokeness.?

What a stupid witch-hunt. More and more companies are making gutless leaps of judgment based on the whims of an online outrage mob.

It wasn’t the dress that made the kid look like an idiot, it was his behavior ??

Today we learned that getting caught masturbating on a Zoom work call will not get you fired from CNN https://t.co/YkGYww1w2Q
