Solid burn: CNN's Brian Stelter totally owns Tucker Carlson using his own words

We’ve already written about CNN’s Brian Stelter being scolded by former CNN anchor Soledad O’Brien, so we thought we might do a post to cheer him up. Like Stelter, we’re going to be watching Fox News tonight to see if Tucker Carlson even shows up for his broadcast after this burn from Monday night:

Epic mic drop there.

Not that Stelter cares, but what Carlson was talking about was the rise of “news” outlets like Teen Vogue and especially cat-obsessed BuzzFeed (“How Cat Are You? Take this QUIZ MEOW!”) and its publication of the bogus Steele dossier, a document no other media outlet would report on because it was unverifiable.

Check it out for yourselves; it’s a great segment:

So relax, Stelter … he wasn’t even talking about CNN. No one on Fox News ever does; ever notice that?

We’re pretty sure CNN will stick around, even if it’s trailing offerings like “Dr. Pimple Popper” in primetime.

Hey, only most of that is true. No, actually it’s all true.

Carlson’s right: America did at one time have prestige media outlets. Too bad Stelter doesn’t see that.
