Townhall’s Guy Benson performs a thorough dissection of the ad here, but in short, Obama super PAC Priorities USA Action’s new campaign spot draws a straight line from Mitt Romney to a woman’s death from cancer.
A little searching quickly turned up the important detail that Ranae Soptic, the woman mentioned in the ad, died in 2006 — five years after her husband’s plant closed and the family lost their health insurance. That supposedly straight line between Romney and death suddenly got a lot longer.
Obama better hope no one who worked at Solyndra has a wife who dies of cancer in 2016. Cause that'll be on him.
