Media aggregation powerhouse Matt Drudge ripped into Governor Chris Christie’s appearance on Saturday Night Live last night (previously covered by Twitchy). He took issue with the governor appearing on the show while thousands of New Jersey residents still suffer without basic services in the wake of a massive hybrid storm that hit the state three weeks ago.
Some Twitter users think that Drudge is voicing his displeasure for the way Christie embraced President Barack Obama after “Frankenstorm” Sandy, just days before the U.S. Presidential election. Some Republicans viewed the interaction as near-treasonous.

Drudge, a Romney supporter from the beginning, is going after Christie. http://t.co/xjB47Wpf http://t.co/NxNQtpXw

Astute observers have noted Drudge’s unparalleled power as a media force and suggest that his ire toward Christie could prematurely doom any chance the Governor might have at a 2016 President run.
Chis Christie has apparently drawn the ire of Matt Drudge. If Drudge has decided that he doesn't like Christie, his 2016 hopes are dim.

Chris Christie has effectively lost the Drudge primary. It's over for him.
