J.K. Rowling launches FEMALE-only sexual violence center and trans activist Twitter can't deal

Most everyone knows J.K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter book series. Twitchy has covered her many times because she has consistently taken abuse from the hard Left trans community for her stance on protecting biological women and women’s rights from being overlooked and overtaken by trans activists. She has announced that she has gone a step further and has funded a space called Beira’s Place which is a woman-only space for sexual abuse survivors.

You can read all about J.K. Rowling’s stance, ideas regarding feminism, and Beira’s place in the articles linked in the several tweets below.

In the ‘unherd.com’ article it states:

‘The service is funded solely by Rowling and is not set up as a charity, which means trans activists won’t be able to petition the Charities Commission to close it down.’

This will surely bring the trans activists out yelling and screaming. They have tried all they can to cancel Rowling and she never backs down.

As we expected, those who were unhappy took to Twitter to make sure everyone knew it is transphobic for Rowling to use her own money to fund a place for sexual assault survivors that is FEMALE ONLY.

It is a center for sexual abuse victims. Nobody, especially the victims, is going to be asking anyone to ‘drop their pants.’ This type of ignorance is why so many people get angry at the trans movement. They are not allowing any other viewpoints. They push insane narratives and try to make people with common sense think they are wrong. It is not transphobic or hateful of trans people to know and understand sexual abuse survivors need particular care and to feel safe in order to heal.

The TERF-only idea was a popular sentiment. TERF stands for a trans-exclusionary radical feminist. The idea is that you cannot acknowledge biological sex or promote women-only spaces and if you do, you hate trans people. Normal people know and understand that is not true, but it does not keep the term from being thrown around as an insult.

Maybe she has been working on it a long time and has been trying to figure out a way to open an all-female service center without legal issues since she knows firsthand how the trans-activists can and will behave.

Exactly. It seems Rowling’s opposition has no way to respond except trying to bully her into submission, which has not worked so far and has only pushed her to speak louder.

The Left is always saying if you do not like something then go make your own, yet when people actually do that, they try to find ways to tear it down.

A self-proclaimed radical feminist supporting Rowling was pretty interesting to see. Feminism has been such an interesting movement over the years. This editor would have supported the 1st and 2nd waves of the movement with people fighting for the right to vote and work, and women like Joan Rivers fighting for their place in male-dominated fields. However, 3rd wave and this newest wave of feminists who seem to be fighting for abortion and literally removing some of the protections the first feminists fought for are a whole different animal and we are just glad that people with a larger platform and access to funds than we have are choosing to fight the fight against them.

There were tons of tweets in support and praise for Rowling and many many more calling her names and hating her for what she is doing. What we know for sure is that whether we agree with Rowling on everything or not, we are happy there is someone willing to fight back on this one piece of the puzzle. Women do deserve some women-only spaces and that is NOT transphobic or hateful. It is just true.

To J.K. Rowling, we hope that you will continue to be as strong as the women characters you wrote and created.  IT would have been very easy for her to sit back and not say anything and just be loved, but she chose to speak up and to put her money where her mouth is. She did not take the easy way out and for that we applaud her.
