Syria is coming to a ceasefire today as the Assad regime has taken (more than likely) a short break in the shelling against his own people.
Rallies are planned tomorrow to test the strength of the ceasefire, but some rebels report through online media that not all fighting has come to a halt yet despite the “deadline” set in place.

After hours of a reported slow-down in the killing of Syrian people, news is breaking now on local state TV from the regime that Syrians who’ve done nothing wrong should come forward and surrender. This is highly controversial because of Assad’s past and known record of a show-no-weakness strategy to his people.
