.@CNN asking the tough questions
— Zoe Camp (@jzcamp) May 31, 2016
Move over, Baby Hitler. There’s a new POTUS-vetting question in town:
Would Donald Trump have killed the gorilla? https://t.co/Im5ig7cqp0 pic.twitter.com/87BIbSWQwC
— CNN (@CNN) May 31, 2016
More (because you know you want more):
New York (CNN) Donald Trump said Tuesday that a Cincinnati zoo “probably had no choice” but to kill a gorilla after a young boy had entered his enclosure.
…
“I think it’s a very tough call,” Trump said. “It was amazing because there were moments with the gorilla — the way he held that child, it was almost like a mother holding a baby. Looked so beautiful and calm.”“And there were moments where it looked pretty dangerous. I don’t think they had a choice,” he added. “It’s too bad there wasn’t another way. But I thought it was so beautiful to watch that powerful, almost 500-pound gorilla the way he dealt with that little boy.”
Trump’s typical thoughtful, insightful, best-words-filled reply aside, this is really hard-hitting stuff. If CNN weren’t around to bring this news to the masses, where would we be? SCREWED, that’s where!
Good Lord. If CNN was looking for more credibility here, they’ll just have to settle for mockery and derision.
