FBI not buying Hillary Clinton's claim her emails are undergoing a routine 'security inquiry'

Top Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin made clear in a State Department email what everyone already suspected: her boss is “often confused.” Either that, or she’s — dare we suggest — lying when she maintains that the FBI investigation into her private email server is actually just a routine “security inquiry.”

A security inquiry? FBI Director James Comey today told reporters that he “don’t know what that means.”

In a Labor Day interview in Iowa with the Associated Press, Clinton called the investigation into her emails and private email server “a distraction” and insisted that what she’s involved in “is not a criminal investigation, it is a security review.

You’d think the FBI would know the difference between the two since it’s performing the investigation. Still, Comey insists he’s not familiar with the term “security review” or what it means.
