The United Nations Human Rights Council famously counts among its members countries like China, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia. Foreign Policy reports Tuesday that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is demanding reform.

An immediate withdrawal from the Council, however, is not imminent, multiple State Department aides told FP. The Council has a small window of time to redeem itself in the eyes of Washington.
