The Republican National Convention is usually a goldmine for restaurants—companies that sponsor the RNC hold lavish parties that need to be catered.

This year, there’s just one problem.

Companies are afraid to be associated with Trump, so they’re not sponsoring the convention and they’re not booking restaurants.

It’s unfortunate, but some people aren’t surprised.

Perhaps the most surprising thing is that companies aren’t also boycotting the DNC, on account of Hillary Clinton.
